I've had several IT experts advise me that I should consider combining my davidjonesgroup website and blog into a single weblog. After thinking it over, it does make sense and I've now done it which took some time and effort, but it's easier to keep one site updated instead of two - plus it saves money. I believe the wave of the future will be for people to combine their websites and blog into one site. It was also suggested I start Twittering which I vowed I wouldn't do, plus who would want to follow me anyway? But after much resistance, I did start Twittering today, and so I had Twitter (better than eating crow) Pie for breakfast. Michael Smith (thanks Michael) was kind enough to walk me through the Twittering process this morning over a cup of coffee. Now that I'm Twittering, I had to figure out how to link my Blog, Facebook, and Twitter's together. Oh, the beauty of technology and the way we communicate with each other is constantly changing. One of the primary reasons I decided to start Twittering is it will help people learn about new book which I wrote to help people who have lost their jobs and may be struggling with finding new jobs or starting completely new careers. More on that in the next couple of days, but now back to trying to figure out how to make all this technoloyg stuff work together????
